Wills & Deceased Estates
Drafting wills that hold up, and guiding families through estate administration without the six-month silence that usually follows a death in the family.
No call centre, no rotating case handlers, no vague "we'll get back to you." At Ndlovu & Marais, the attorney you speak to on day one is the attorney who sees your matter through.
30 minutes, no jargon. You'll leave knowing where you stand and what it will cost to move forward, before you commit to anything.
Registered attorneys, LPC no. 034521. Fully regulated, properly insured.
Founding attorneys with a combined 19 years across litigation and commercial law.
You deal with your attorney, not a rotating desk of paralegals and assistants.
We keep our range broad enough to cover what actually lands on a boutique firm's desk, and specialised enough that nothing gets handed off to someone unfamiliar with your file.
Drafting wills that hold up, and guiding families through estate administration without the six-month silence that usually follows a death in the family.
Disputes headed for court, or more often, disputes we can resolve before they do. We tell you honestly which one yours is.
Agreements drafted to survive a disagreement, and debt collection handled firmly enough to actually get you paid, not just a stern letter on file.
Divorce, maintenance and custody matters handled with the discretion they need and the pace they deserve, not dragged out to run up fees.
Transfers and bond registrations managed so deadlines don't slip and your transfer doesn't stall in someone else's in-tray.
CCMA disputes, dismissals and workplace disciplinary processes, for both employers who need it done right and employees who need to be heard.
You won't re-explain your case to a new face every time you call. The attorney you meet is the one who signs off on your outcome.
A written estimate before work starts, and a heads-up before any cost changes, not an invoice that surprises you at the end.
We take on fewer matters at a time on purpose, so yours gets attention instead of getting queued.
If we can't explain your options in plain language, we haven't done our job yet.
Founding Director & Attorney of the High Court
Lerato founded the firm after seven years at a mid-size Johannesburg practice, where she saw how easily clients got lost between departments on matters that were, to them, the most stressful thing happening in their lives. Ndlovu & Marais exists to fix that: a smaller firm where the attorney you meet is the one who carries your matter to the end.
She practises primarily in civil litigation and commercial disputes, and consults directly on every matter the firm takes on regardless of practice area.
Tell us briefly what's going on. We'll come back to you within one business day with next steps, no obligation, no pressure.
